Rajasthan Transfers 25 IAS Officers, Key Portfolios Reshuffled

Jaipur, March 20, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): The Rajasthan government carried out a late-night administrative reshuffle, transferring 25 IAS officers and making significant changes in key departments.

Akhil Arora has been relieved of the PHED department, while Shuchi Tyagi will now handle the tourism department. Praveen Gupta, who was managing two major departments under Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, has been divested of tourism and assigned the sports department.

Changes have also been made in the animal husbandry sector, with Dr. Samit Sharma being shifted. The responsibilities of Aparna Arora have also been revised.

Hemant Gera has been posted to the Water Supply Department, while T. Ravikant has been moved to the Revenue Department. Ajitabh Sharma will now head the Revenue Board.

In the energy sector, Aarti Dogra will oversee the entire department. Alok Gupta has been assigned the Urban Development and Housing (UDH) department.

Neeraj K. Pawan has been appointed as DG, IGP(RS). Several other officers, including Dinesh Kumar, Rajesh Yadav, Bhawani Singh Detha, Sitaramji Bhale, Dr. Debashish Pusti, Krishna Kunal, Arushi Malik, Jogaram, P.C. Kishan, P. Ramesh, Poonam, Sarwan Kumar and Anandi, have also been given new responsibilities across departments such as education, labour, transport, cooperation, science and technology, and panchayati raj.

The reshuffle includes changes in positions such as ACS to the Chief Minister, ACS for mines and petroleum, DG HCM RIPA, MD Finance Corporation, PWD and youth affairs, as well as key सचिव-level postings in revenue, school education, animal husbandry, and women and child development.
