Jaipur, October 17 (Udaipur Kiran): Under the ongoing “Operation Bhoo-Dev”, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Jaipur City-I unit, acting on the directions of ACB Headquarters, recovered 560 grams of gold valued at approximately ₹72 lakh from the locker of Ramavatar Meena, Associate Professor at the Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Institute, Jaipur.
According to Additional Director General of Police, ACB, Smita Srivastava, the recovery was made during searches conducted in connection with a disproportionate assets case (Case No. 270/2025) registered against Meena and others. During the search operations at various locations linked to Meena, ACB officials found the key to a locker.
Following this lead, the ACB team from Jaipur City-I searched the locker at the State Bank of India (SBI), Indira Gandhi Nagar Branch, Jaipur, on October 17, 2025. The search led to the discovery of 560 grams of gold, which was later valued at ₹72 lakh by the approved valuer.
Officials further stated that the valuation of Meena’s under-construction house is also underway, and more assets are likely to be uncovered as the investigation progresses. The operation and further proceedings are currently ongoing.
