The accident occurred when a bus carrying students and teachers from Jhapa to Pokhara hit by a truck in the wee hours in Churiyamani area.
The students were heading to Pokhaara to attend a programme.
Makawanpur police said, 33 injured have been admitted to Hetauda hospital, 6 in Bharatpur and one has been referred to Kathmandu for treatment.
