Udaipur : A three year old child was raped by an unidentified man on Wednesday evening. The incident took place at Dhamdhar, a rural settlement under Hiran Magri police station area of the city. The child was playing outside her house while her mother had gone to the nearby field for some work when an unknown person took away the child and raped her.
When the woman returned she looked for the minor and found her bleeding behind the bushes. The survivor was rushed to the MB hospital here and her condition is said to be critical. Authorities including SP Kunwar Rashtradeep too went to the village where tension prevailed for some time. Villagers severely condemned the incident and demanded immediate arrest of the accused. Police team from the HiranMagri station too was at the spot till late, sources informed.
