Jaipur : Flight schedules at Jaipur Airport were disrupted once again. On Saturday, two Air India Express flights — one from Delhi to Jaipur and the other from Jaipur to Delhi — were cancelled at the last minute due to operational reasons. As a result, a large number of passengers faced difficulties in reaching their destinations.
Air India Express flight IX-1194 was scheduled to depart from Delhi to Jaipur at 6:35 AM and arrive at Jaipur Airport by 7:35 AM. However, the flight could not take off from Delhi on Saturday due to operational issues.
Similarly, Air India Express flight IX-1182 was scheduled to take off from Jaipur to Delhi at 8:05 AM and land at Delhi Airport by 9:05 AM. But this flight too could not depart due to operational reasons.
The sudden cancellation of both flights caused major inconvenience for a large number of passengers. For the Delhi-bound flight, passengers had started arriving at the airport from 5:30 AM itself.
Likewise, a large number of passengers had reached Jaipur Airport by 7:00 AM to travel to Delhi. However, the airline informed passengers about the cancellation of both flights only a few minutes before the scheduled departures. Passengers are now demanding action from the government against the airline for such negligence.
