



The incident happened in Amarpura village under Kheroda police station area on Monday. The accused Hasim Mohammad (18) so Abdul Mohd Siddiqui resident of Lasadiya Choraha and Salman Ali (20) so Nisar Ali resident of Dhariyawad were going towards Kheroda on a narrow road due to road construction and their two-wheeler happened to collide with a car. The duo messed up with the car driver Pankaj Das so Shivdas resident of nearby Menar village and the heated conversation took an ugly turn. In a fit of fury, one of the accused stabbed the driver while the other one thrashed him.
The duo fled immediately on their vehicle and disappeared into the fields. Meanwhile the injured driver called up his relatives and narrated the incident. As the news spread, villagers collected and they chased the youths who were caught and beaten up. ” The youths have not sustained any major bruises on their body, however, internal injuries would only known once after their medical report comes. They have been booked under charges of attempt to murder” the police officer said.
