New Delhi, October 20 (Udaipur Kiran): Team India’s hopes of reaching the semifinals of the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 are still alive despite suffering a narrow four-run defeat against England on Sunday at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. This was India’s third consecutive loss in the tournament, following defeats to South Africa and Australia. Earlier, the team had started strongly with wins over Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
With this victory, England became the third team to qualify for the semifinals, leaving one remaining spot to be contested between India and New Zealand.
