Woman Injured in Dog Attack at Jaipur Airport

Jaipur, February 16: A woman passenger was injured in a dog attack at Jaipur International Airport on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred outside the arrival area gate of Terminal-2.

According to airport authorities, the woman had just arrived from Delhi when a dog attacked her as she exited the terminal. Eyewitnesses reported that the dog bit her on the leg. People present at the scene quickly assisted the woman and informed airport management. She was taken to a nearby private hospital by airport officials, where she received initial treatment and was later discharged. Authorities confirmed that the dog involved had already been vaccinated.

This is not the first incident of dog attacks at the airport. There have been previous cases involving passengers and the general public. Despite this, a permanent solution to the stray dog problem has not been achieved. According to regulations, captured dogs are sterilized and then released back into the same area. Airport management is currently working on fencing the premises, raising concerns about security in high-security areas due to the presence of stray dogs.
