WhatsApp Multi-Account Support Now Available in Beta for Android

19 Oct 2023 3:10 PM by Bhupendra Singh Chundawat

WhatsApp has announced that its multi-account support feature is now available in beta testing for Android users. This feature allows users to add multiple WhatsApp accounts to the same app, making it easier to manage all of their conversations from a single device.

To use multi-account support, users will need to tap the arrow icon next to the QR code button in the WhatsApp app and select “Add account.” They can then enter their phone number and verification code to add a new account. Once an account has been added, users can switch between accounts by tapping the profile picture in the top left corner of the app and selecting the account they want to use.

WhatsApp multi-account support is a welcome addition to the app, as it will make it much easier for users to manage multiple WhatsApp accounts. This is especially useful for business owners and people who use WhatsApp for both personal and professional purposes.

In addition to multi-account support, WhatsApp is also planning to introduce a new feature called “Communities.” Communities will allow users to create groups of up to 500 people, and they will be able to have multiple sub-groups. WhatsApp Communities is still under development, but it has the potential to be a powerful tool for communication and collaboration.

Here are some of the benefits of WhatsApp multi-account support:

  • Users can manage multiple WhatsApp accounts from a single device.
  • This is especially useful for business owners and people who use WhatsApp for both personal and professional purposes.
  • Users can easily switch between accounts without having to log out and log back in.

Here are some of the limitations of WhatsApp multi-account support:

  • Only available in beta testing for Android users at this time.
  • Not all features are supported in multi-account mode.

Overall, WhatsApp multi-account support is a welcome addition to the app. It makes it easier for users to manage multiple WhatsApp accounts, which can be useful for a variety of purposes.
