Vodafone Idea rings loud as its arm partners with Nokia to roll out SD-WAN

Vodafone Idea is currently trading at Rs. 6.56, up by 0.40 points or 6.49% from its previous closing of Rs. 6.16 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 6.19 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 6.70 and Rs. 6.17 respectively. So far 7442420 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 27.51 on 21-Nov-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4.83 on 13-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 6.87 and Rs. 5.78 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 18706.74 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.57%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.82% and 5.61% respectively.

Vodafone Idea’s enterprise arm — Vodafone Idea Business Services (VIBS) has entered into partnership with Nokia to roll out software-defined networking in a wide area network (SD-WAN) services for start-ups and enterprises.

Through SD-WAN deployment, VIBS will offer advanced networking and connectivity solutions and enable enterprises to dramatically increase the speed of deployment, flexibility and control. The services will be offered in partnership with Nokia and is built on Nokia’s Nuage Networks Virtualized Services Platform (VSP) that will provide enterprises with an application-driven network that seamlessly and constantly adapts to the real-time demands of cloud computing, mobility and digitization.
