Vande Bharat Train to Run from Udaipur to Asarwa from Feb 16

Udaipur, February (Udaipur Kiran): Indian Railways has announced the launch of a new Vande Bharat train from Udaipur to Ahmedabad’s Asarwa railway station, starting February 16. Udaipur MP Dr Mannalal Rawat expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for this development.

Dr Rawat said that continuous efforts were made for the introduction of this train, and the Railway Minister had recently assured support for the proposal. He added that efforts would now be made to extend the train service further to Surat and Mumbai.

With the introduction of this high-speed train, trade, tourism, and industrial activities between Udaipur and Ahmedabad are expected to gain momentum. The train will depart from Udaipur and reach Asarwa via Dungarpur and Himmatnagar.

The Vande Bharat train will operate six days a week. It will depart from Udaipur at 6:10 am and reach Asarwa at 10:25 am. On the return journey, the train will leave Asarwa at 5:45 pm and arrive in Udaipur at 10:00 pm.

The train will halt at Jawer station in Udaipur, Dungarpur station, and Himmatnagar station in Gujarat along the route.
