UP me Khela hobe : Mamta in PM’s constituency

Varanasi, March 3 : Claiming that the BJP is now in desperation seeing its defeat in Uttar Pradesh polls, the West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC president Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said, “Now UP me khela hobe ” and appealed to the people of this eastern part of UP to vote for the Samajwadi Party (SP) and it’s alliance to uproot the ruling party from the state. Addressing an impressive joint election rally in favour of the SP and it’s alliance in Aidhe village of the district, which also happens to be the parliamentary constituency of Prine Minister Narendra Modi, Mamata Banerjee said that when she was going to have a glance of ‘Ganga Aarti’ from the airport in the evening on Wednesday last, a group of BJP workers showed black flags to her and raised slogan of go back but she is a fighter and is not afraid of such acts. She said that such an act shows that the BJP is desperate as it is sensing defeat in the election held so far, she said appealing to the people of this belt of the state to vote in favour of the candidates of the SP and it’s alliance and oust the saffron brigade from power. She blamed the BJP for being busy in electioneering in UP and leaving the children of the country alone with their miseries in Ukraine in the present crisis. Defeat of the ruling party is sure, she claimed and said, “Ab UP me khela hobe.” Addressing the gathering of the workers of the SP, SBSP, Trinamool Congress and other alliance partners, the SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav blamed that the BJP is stunned by the arrival of Mamata Banerjee and accused the BJP of making false claims regarding doubling the income of farmers and giving railways, airports and other public undertakings into private hands. She said that the BJP had left the people with their miseries during the pandemic and the dead bodies of corona patients were seen floating in the river Ganga because of the gross negligence shown by the BJP-led Government. She added that the Yogi-Government did nothing for the development of this part of the state despite claiming to develop the holy city as Kyoto. The chief of Pragatisheel Samaj Party Shivpal Yadav said that he was now with Akhilesh Yadav and appealed to the people to vote for the candidates of the alliance. The SP MP Ramgopal Yadav said that the SP fulfills its promises made in its manifesto and the BJP will face defeat not only in this election but also in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The SBSP Chief Omprakash Rajbhar said that if the alliance comes to power it will solve the problem of teacher’s recruitment and police recruitment and added that the ousting of the BJP is the need of the hour. The RLD Chief Jayant Chaudhary said that the alliance is fighting to save the nation and appealed to the people to vote in favour of the candidates of alliance.
