Before shifting to Mumbai for my new job, I planned to go on a short trip with my close friends. I was looking for a nearby destination which would neither require much budget nor more than 3-4 days. Being from Ajmer, I thought it would be best to visit a local gem, Udaipur which I had only been to once, years ago. Everyone agreed that Udaipur will be the best place to visit for a short duration.
I started searching for Udaipur packages on Thrillophilia’s site. I came to know about this company from a friend who is a frequent traveller. While searching, I came across Udaipur and Mount Abu package for 4 days and 3 nights which was perfect for us. To learn more about this package I checked the Thrillophilia reviews of Rajasthan trip which were quite impressive. We were happy that we will also get to cover Mount Abu in this duration and moreover in the same budget, which was out of our expectation.
We finalised the ‘Rajasthan Wonders Udaipur and Mount Abu’ package and started looking for our train tickets. One thing that I appreciate is that Thrillophilia offers a really easy booking process to the customers. Starting from a simple website to well-informed customer service agents, it hardly took a day to plan out this entire trip.

Beautiful memories created together !
We first arrived at Udaipur railway station from where our driver picked us up. Our train journey was short but we made it really fun by playing games and singing our favourite songs. Our driver dropped us off at our beautiful hotel. We were not really tired so we immediately freshened up and got ready for exploring places.
After an hour, we went out to explore the beautiful ‘Lake City’. But first we made a stop at a small restaurant for our lunch. I still remember clearly that it was a lakeside restaurant that had a pretty Rajasthani vibe and all the staff members were wearing pagdis. After lunch, we explored a number of popular attractions such as Saheliyon ki Bari, Fateh Sagar Lake, Under the Sun Aquarium and Lake Pichola. Also, we enjoyed a really fun boat ride at Lake Pichola which was the highlight of the day.

At night, we went towards the famous Shahi Bagh restaurant which is famous for its live cultural performances and lavish interiors. We spent a good 3 hours at the restaurant, trying various dishes and even joining the local dancers for a minute. After being loaded with delicious food, our driver picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. Like I had read in the Rajasthan trip reviews, the private transportation services have been really helpful throughout our trip. I am sure that without someone picking and dropping us, we would have wasted a lot of time.
On day 2, we covered the rest of the major attractions of Udaipur. We explored places like the City Palace, Ambrai Ghat, Crystal Gallery and Badi Mahal. In the evening, we went to the local bazaars to enjoy some shopping.
Our day 3 started early as we were going to visit Mount Abu. We left the hotel right after our breakfast and then headed towards our second destination, Mount Abu. On arrival, we first checked-in at our hotel and had our lunch in our rooms. After an hour or two, we went on the sightseeing tour and explored famous attractions like Guru Shikhar and Dilwara Jain Temple. After a full day of visiting places, we headed back to our hotel.

The next day we packed our bags for the final time as it was time to say goodbye. Our driver picked us up from our hotel in Mount Abu and then dropped us off at the Udaipur railway station.
Thanks Thrillophilia !
This Udaipur and Mount Abu trip went exactly like I planned or maybe even exceeded my expectations. It was the perfect package for a short trip and included the right amount of attractions. The service that I received throughout the trip was exceptional and worth every penny.
I am glad that I went on this trip with my friends before leaving for Mumbai. Thrillophilia gave me the perfect goodbye I needed with my close ones. In return, I am writing this Thrillophilia Rajasthan trip review to thank them for their brilliant services.
