Udaipur : The three-day Mewar festival will begin in the city of lakes, Udaipur, from Thursday, April 11, in collaboration with the district administration and the tourism department.

Deputy Director of Tourism Shikha Saxena said that on the first day of the Mewar festival, April 11, a Ganguar procession will be taken out from Ghantaghar to Ganguar Ghat from 4 pm to 6 pm, and a royal Ganguar procession will be taken out from Banshi Ghat to Ganguar Ghat from 6 pm to 7 pm.
There will be a performance by folk artists and fireworks at Ganguar Ghat at 7 pm. On the second day, April 12, there will be a cultural evening and a foreign couple’s Rajasthani costume competition at Ganguar Ghat from 7 pm, and various events will be held at the fairground in Gogunda from April 11 to 13 along with cultural programs.
