Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has reportedly reorganized its industry solutions units (ISUs), giving almost 200 employees control of them in a bid to free up senior executives to focus on long-term strategy. This make over will help the company’s topmost executives – from the CEO to the EVPs to focus on delivering the future plans. The company has first broke up its business into smaller units in 2008 which helped in power growth.
The company has doubled down its earlier strategy of ISUs and has created sub-ISUs. Now, the company has 150 sub-P&L (profit & loss) heads which have been set up in the same way the old ISUs were set up.
TCS is an IT services, consulting and business solutions provider that has been partnering with the world’s largest businesses in their transformation journeys for the last fifty years.
