In the men’s singles, Kidambi Srikanth survived a pulsating all-Indian three-game quarter-final match against Sameer Verma, which lasted one hour and 18 minutes. Kidambi won 22-20, 19-21, 23-21. In the semis Srikanth will take of World No 1 Kento Momota of Japan.
