New Delhi, May 1: The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has announced a recruitment notification for a total of 35 positions, including General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) and specialist doctors in various departments, on a contractual basis. Eligible and interested candidates are invited to apply.
The vacancies include 3 positions for medical specialists, 3 for general surgery specialists, 2 for obstetricians and gynecologists, 3 for ophthalmologists, 2 for radiologists, 1 for a pathologist, 1 for an anesthesia specialist, and 20 for General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs).
Candidates will be selected based on a walk-in interview, medical examination, and document verification. The monthly salary for selected candidates will be ₹85,000 for specialist doctors and ₹75,000 for GDMOs.
Candidates attending the interview must possess an MBBS degree or a relevant postgraduate degree/diploma from a recognized institution or university, along with the necessary eligibility criteria and required years of experience.
The maximum age limit for candidates is set at 70 years. The walk-in interviews will be held on May 25 at the Frontier Headquarters SSB, Siliguri, on May 28 at the Frontier Headquarters SSB, Guwahati, on June 1 at the Frontier Headquarters SSB, Lucknow, and on June 4 at the Frontier Headquarters SSB, Patna.
Candidates are advised to arrive on time and bring all required documents to the interview venue.
