Udaipur, August 6: The Women’s Wing of Shri Ekling Nath Rashtriya Seva Sangathan organised a sports competition and Sawan Festival at the Cultural Resource and Training Centre in Bada Hawala on Wednesday. The programme aimed to honour women members, introduce the newly formed women’s executive committee, and bring fresh energy to the organisation’s activities.
Founder President Akash Bagdi said women members of the organisation participated enthusiastically in the event. A meeting was also held to introduce the new women’s executive committee and discuss the organisation’s future activities.
Traditional Sports Competitions Held
Women participants showcased their talent by taking part in traditional games, including Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, and Running.
The winners were:
- Kho-Kho: Sarika, Rekha Khatik and Rekha Devasi
- Running: Hiral, Mansha Khatik and Ankur Jhala
- Kabaddi: Anita Paliwal
The winners were felicitated and congratulated during the programme.
Focus on Women’s Leadership and Social Service
Addressing the gathering, Akash Bagdi said women play a vital role in the development of society. He encouraged them to become self-reliant, develop leadership skills, and actively participate in social service activities.
He added that Shri Ekling Nath Rashtriya Seva Sangathan would continue working towards women’s empowerment and spreading social awareness.
