At the inaugural event, held under the organization’s banner, founder and national president Akash Bagdi emphasized that the Sangathan’s aim is to offer help and security wherever a girl is in need. “We are committed to standing by every girl who needs protection, support, or encouragement. The work starting in Jodhpur is fostering harmony and it’s heartening to see women themselves taking the lead in empowering others through skill development,” he said.

Girl Named ‘Pari’ Adopted by the Sangathan

During the ceremony, a girl named Pari—currently living with her elderly grandmother—was officially adopted by the organization. The Sangathan pledged to fully support her future, both emotionally and financially. Bagdi also shared that on May 17, the organization successfully hosted a free mass wedding event, which received an enthusiastic response from the community.

Jodhpur Women Inspired by Udaipur Chapter’s Service

Inspired by the impactful service activities of the Udaipur chapter, women in Jodhpur have now initiated their own local branch. On Wednesday, under the Sangathan’s banner, a sewing training camp was inaugurated in Gujarwas, Jodhpur. In its second phase, the initiative will train approximately 250 women in tailoring, beauty parlour techniques, and mehndi design, aiming to connect them with self-employment opportunities.
