Shankh Air to Launch Flights in Early 2026

New Delhi, December 24 (Udaipur Kiran) – Shankh Air, a new entrant in the Indian aviation sector, plans to start flight operations in the first quarter of 2026. The company announced this after receiving the no-objection certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Shankh Aviation said its aircraft are currently undergoing technical inspections and are being prepared for delivery in India. The airline will be operated by Shankh Aviation, based in Uttar Pradesh.

Shravan Kumar Vishwakarma, Chairman and Managing Director of Shankh Aviation, met with Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu on Monday to discuss the airline’s plans. According to Vishwakarma, the airline aims to commence its flight services around the first quarter of 2026.

He further stated that the company intends to expand its fleet to 20-25 aircraft within the next two to three years.

Notably, Shankh Air is poised to become one of India’s newest and most modern airlines, with its first flight expected to take off in May 2025, aiming to transform air travel. The company is headquartered in Lucknow and plans to connect the city with Delhi, the financial hub Mumbai, the cultural city Chennai, and other major cities across the country.
