Scattered Showers in Jodhpur; Rain Likely to Continue for Next Few Days

Jodhpur, October 3 (Udaipur Kiran News): Parts of Jodhpur city witnessed scattered rainfall on Friday, with some areas receiving light drizzle and others heavy showers. According to the Meteorological Department, rainfall activity is expected to continue across western Rajasthan over the next three to four days due to a low-pressure system forming over the Bay of Bengal.

Heavy Rain Hits Rajasthan

In Jodhpur, areas such as Basni, Sangariya, and Mahamandir reported light to moderate rainfall during the morning hours. While the monsoon has officially withdrawn, the current weather disturbance is likely to bring intermittent showers in the coming days.

The Met Department added that a new Western Disturbance is expected to become active over North India from Saturday, leading to rain across several northern states, including Rajasthan.

As a result, western and northern districts of Rajasthan — including Jodhpur, Pali, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Sirohi, and Jalore — are likely to experience moderate rainfall on October 5 and 6. The impact of the system may persist till October 8.
