Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Tipped to Offer Display With Improved Touch Response

The official presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series is expected on January 17, at the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event. The upcoming Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra may differ from their predecessors with improved screens, new chipsets and cameras. Recently, a tipster claimed that the Galaxy S24 series will bring major improvements in touch sensitivity. The increased touch response speed should make the phone feel smoother.

Tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) posted: Provides users with smooth and quick responses. This also results in a better S Pen experience for the high-end Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The Galaxy S24 has a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2340 pixels). Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24+ is said to get a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display (1440 x 3120 pixels), while the Galaxy S24 Ultra will get a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display. The screen of all three phones can have a variable refresh rate from 1 Hz to 120 Hz, with a maximum brightness of 2600 nits.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is expected to disappear at the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event on January 17. Samsung has already started taking orders for the new smartphones in India.

The Galaxy S24 series is expected to be powered by the Galaxy Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The regular Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ can be equipped with the Exynos 2400 chip in select global markets. The Galaxy S24 may have 8GB of RAM, while top models may offer up to 12GB of RAM. They will likely be equipped with artificial intelligence functions that create something. The Galaxy S24 series could be the first Samsung device with Galaxy AI.
