Jaipur, October 6, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): The Rajasthan government has suspended SOG Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mukesh Kumar Soni, who was arrested in connection with an alleged Rs 2 crore bribe case linked to Udaipur.

The action was taken on the basis of a report submitted by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
Soni is accused of demanding a bribe in return for providing relief to the accused in a case related to 272 plots in Udaipur.
The ACB arrested alleged middleman Sajjan Singh Jain, alias Tatla, on September 26 while he was allegedly accepting Rs 2 crore. The ACB arrested Soni the next day in connection with the case.
