Return of the Jungle Set to Make Waves in India After Cannes

Mumbai, May 1: The animated comedy adventure film ‘Return of the Jungle’ has released its motion poster on Friday. Set against the backdrop of modern India, the film aims to teach school children lessons of courage and friendship through the folk tales of ‘Panchatantra’.

The motion poster is quite entertaining, offering a glimpse into the vibrant and colorful world of the film, promising a memorable experience for the entire family.

Having already been showcased at the Cannes Film Market, ‘Return of the Jungle’ has made a name for itself on a global level. Its unique feature is its desi style, which beautifully aligns with contemporary global storytelling methods.

The story revolves around a group of fourth-grade children facing various challenges in their school life, including bullying, tests of friendship, and a lack of self-confidence.

Directed by Vaibhav Kumaresh, a well-known name in the animation industry, the film features a delightful mix of cricket, humor, and coming-of-age stories. Vaibhav stated, “This is a completely ‘Made in India’ film, showcasing a fantastic blend of cricket, comedy, and stories of growing up.”

He elaborated that the film narrates the journey of some fourth graders who regain their confidence, courage, and imagination through magical jungle stories told by a grandfather.

Directed by the Emmy-nominated Vaibhav Kumaresh, this film is the result of 15 years of hard work, merging Indian folklore and creativity with an exciting portrayal of cricket, friendship, and minor fears.
