Xiaomi has shared the key features of the Indian version of the Redmi Pad Pro 5G and they are expected to be similar to the Chinese version. Meanwhile, renders of the leaked design and some of the expected features of the Redmi Pad SE 4G have surfaced online.

The company announced in its official X post that the Redmi Pad Pro 5G will launch in India on July 29. Meanwhile, the launch of the Redmi Pad SE 4G was also confirmed on the same day. The official Redmi Pad Pro 5G microsite has also been released, revealing some of the key features of the upcoming tablet.
Features of Redmi Pad Pro 5G
The Indian version of the Redmi Pad Pro 5G is confirmed to have a 12.1-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has four speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a 10,000mAh battery with up to 12 hours of video playback time. The official microsite also confirms that the tablet runs Xiaomi’s HyperOS out of the box and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Redmi Pad SE 4G design offers leaked, expected features
The leaked renders of the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 were shared by Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414) in an X post. This is the upcoming Redmi Pad SE 4G tablet. The gray option features a circular rear camera module in the top left corner of the panel. On the right edge are the volume and power buttons, while on the left edge the slot for the SIM card tray is visible.
The front of the Redmi Pad SE 4G features a thick frame and a central hole punch on the top frame. In addition to the 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port, the renders also show speaker grilles on the top and bottom edges.
According to experts, the Redmi Pad SE 4G will have an 8.7-inch HD LCD display (1340 x 800 pixels). The phone is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. The post reveals that the tablet will be available in 64GB and 128GB storage options. It may also have HyperOS based on Android 14.
In terms of optics, the Redmi Pad SE 4G is expected to come with an 8-megapixel primary sensor on the back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. This tablet has a 6650mAh battery. It supports Bluetooth 5.3 and USB Type-C. It may also have Dolby Atmos speakers and support up to 2TB of expandable storage via a microSD card.
