Redmi K90 Pro Max to Feature Xiaomi 17’s Flagship Light Fusion 950 Sensor

Udaipur Kiran Tech Desk): Redmi continues to build excitement ahead of the Redmi K90 series launch on October 23 in China, with the brand now confirming the primary camera details of the top-end Redmi K90 Pro Max.

Redmi K90 Pro Max

According to Redmi, the K90 Pro Max will house the company’s most advanced camera system yet, headlined by a large 1/1.31-inch Light Fusion 950 sensor—the same flagship sensor featured in the Xiaomi 17 series. This high-dynamic sensor offers an impressive 13.5EV dynamic range, supported by DXG high dynamic technology for enhanced detail and exposure balance.

The camera lens adopts a 1G+6P hybrid glass-plastic structure with multi-layer coatings that minimize glare and improve color accuracy and sharpness.

Additional Camera Specifications

Earlier leaks suggest the Redmi K90 Pro Max could feature a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto lens, although the front camera details are yet to be confirmed.

Power and Performance

Under the hood, the K90 Pro Max will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with a massive 7,500+ mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The device will sport a 6.59-inch 2K OLED display and run Android 16 topped with HyperOS 3. For audio, Redmi has confirmed a 2.1 sound setup with a Bose-powered rear speaker, promising a more immersive listening experience.

The K90 Pro Max will also feature a metal middle frame, an IP68/69-rated body for dust and water resistance, and premium build quality.

Availability

Reports indicate that the Redmi K90 series might stay exclusive to China. However, global markets could receive rebranded versions as Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra.
