In a series of posts about the X, Realme shared a collaboration with luxury watchmaker Olivier Sabeo. The Realme 12 Pro series integrates design elements from luxury watch brands. The leaked images from the aforementioned collaboration show the Realme 12 Pro model in a blue color option reminiscent of the popular blue dials of Rolex watches.
Realme has also officially announced the design of the Realme 12 Pro model. It is available in submarine blue color variant. On the back, there is a circular camera module in the middle surrounded by a gold plate. There is also a vertical gold line running down the middle of the back wall. The power button and volume button on the right edge of the phone also look gold.
In another X post, Realme confirmed that the Realme 12 Pro series will feature a Sony IMX890 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support and a 24mm focal length. This camera is equipped with an OV64B sensor with a periscope camera that supports up to 120x digital zoom. The camera system is also set to 3x portrait mode with a focal length of 71mm.
It was previously said that the base Realme 12 Pro will come with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. The phone comes with three 50-megapixel rear camera units, each powered by a 5000mAh battery. The Realme 12 Pro+ is expected to come with a 64-megapixel Omnivision OV64B sensor with a 3x periscope telephoto lens.
The upcoming Realme 12 Pro series landing page on the official website hints at a January launch for the lineup. Although the date has not been confirmed yet, Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414) suggested that the phone could launch in India on January 31 at 12:00 pm IST. He added that the Realme 12 Pro model will be available in Navigator Beige and Submarine Blue colors, while the Realme 12 Pro+ may be available in Explorer Red colors. Both models are available in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configurations, with the base model available in 12GB + 256GB options.
