RBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams Begin Across Rajasthan

Ajmer, February 13 (Udaipur Kiran): The Secondary and Senior Secondary examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan began on Thursday across the state.

The examinations commenced with a traditional पूजा at the Shiv Temple located within the Board premises. Board Administrator and Divisional Commissioner Shakti Singh Rathore and Secretary Gajendra Singh Rathore, along with other officials, were present on the occasion.

Board Secretary Gajendra Singh Rathore said that two types of control rooms have been set up — one one-way and one two-way. Any issue related to examinations or candidates is being resolved promptly through these control rooms. He added that continuous monitoring is being carried out through the CCTV room and control room.

A total of 19.90 lakh candidates have been registered for the board examinations this year. The exams are being conducted at 6,194 centres across the state.

Providing further details, the Secretary said that 10,68,109 students have registered for the Secondary examination, 9,10,009 for the Senior Secondary examination, 7,817 for Praveshika and 4,122 for the Varishtha Upadhyay category.

He said that all necessary arrangements have been made at examination centres to ensure smooth conduct of exams. Strict security measures have been put in place to prevent unfair means. CCTV surveillance, deployment of flying squads and special teams have been arranged. This year, examinations are also being monitored through Abhay Command Centres in districts.
