Udaipur Kiran, 01 January 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed former councillor and current state spokesperson Rakhi Rathore as the state president of the party’s Women’s Front. This decision was taken by Rajasthan BJP president Madan Rathore.
The position had been vacant since the previous state president, Raksha Bhandari, was made the district president of Sirohi. Although the BJP announced presidents for six fronts three days ago, the women’s front presidency was not declared at that time. Today, the party entrusted Rakhi Rathore with this responsibility.
After her appointment as state president, Rakhi Rathore said, “First of all, I would like to sincerely thank the organisation for giving this responsibility to a humble worker like me. I will definitely strive to live up to the trust the party has placed in me.”
She added, “Our women’s front teams are working very well in every district. We will work on ways to improve this further. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken steps to provide 33% reservation to women through the Women Empowerment Act. Our party will also prioritise encouraging women to step forward and contribute to nation-building.”
