Cold Wave

Cold winds sweeping through the Shekhawati region have intensified the chill, prompting residents to pull out light woollens.

According to weather experts, the current conditions are expected to persist for the next few days. No significant changes in temperature are likely in the immediate future.

While most cities, including Jaipur, Bikaner, and Jodhpur, experienced clear skies and sunshine during the day, nights turned noticeably colder. Daytime warmth remained mild due to bright sunlight.

As per data released by the Meteorological Department, Barmer recorded the highest temperature at 36.9°C, followed by Jaisalmer at 36.3°C. Sikar saw the coldest night at 13.6°C, while Pilani (Jhunjhunu) and Dausa recorded 15.7°C and 15.6°C respectively.

Officials from the weather department stated that the winter chill is gradually setting in across Rajasthan, with morning and evening temperatures likely to drop further in the coming days.
