Rain Likely in Four Jharkhand Districts on October 20

Ranchi, October 19 (Udaipur Kiran): The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rain in four districts of Jharkhand on Monday, October 20. The department said there will be no major change in minimum and maximum temperatures across the state.

According to the weather department, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder is expected in East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Simdega, and Seraikela-Kharsawan districts. These areas are likely to experience partly cloudy skies throughout the day.

The IMD further stated that on October 21, fog may cover southern and western districts of Jharkhand in the morning hours, followed by clear weather later in the day. A similar foggy condition is expected on October 22 as well.

In the past 24 hours, Ranchi and nearby areas witnessed generally clear weather with intermittent sunshine and scattered clouds.

As per temperature data, the highest temperature in the state was recorded at 34.3°C in Godda, while the lowest was 14.8°C in Latehar. The maximum temperature stood at 29.4°C in Ranchi, 32.7°C in Jamshedpur, 32.6°C in Daltonganj, 31.5°C in Bokaro, and 33.4°C in Chaibasa.
