Udaipur, May 30: In a move driven by technical reasons, the Railway Board has announced a key change for passengers traveling between Udaipur and Kolkata. Starting July 31, trains on this route will halt at Idgah Agra Junction instead of Agra Fort Station. The two stations are approximately 3 km apart.

According to officials, two trains operate between Udaipur and Kolkata. Under the new schedule:

The Kolkata–Udaipur City train will arrive at Idgah Station at 10:05 AM and depart at 10:10 AM, effective July 31.

The Udaipur City–Kolkata train departing on August 4 will reach Idgah at 2:50 PM and leave at 3:00 PM.
This adjustment is part of a wider operational change impacting five pairs of trains, including:

Howrah–Jodhpur

Howrah–Bikaner

Muzaffarpur–Sabarmati
New Halt for Khajuraho–Udaipur Express at Orchha Station
In a separate update aimed at improving passenger convenience, the Railway Board has granted a temporary experimental halt for the Khajuraho–Udaipur City–Khajuraho Express at Orchha Station, starting May 30.
As per the schedule:

The train will arrive at Orchha at 2:23 PM and depart at 2:25 PM.

On its return leg, it will arrive at 1:00 PM and depart at 1:02 PM.
