New Delhi, October 21 (Udaipur Kiran): The Kochi Blue Spikers concluded their Prime Volleyball League (PVL) 2025 campaign on a high note, defeating Ahmedabad Defenders 3–1 (15–13, 14–16, 17–15, 15–9) in their final league match of the season. Erin Varghese was named the Player of the Match for his stellar all-round performance.

Ahmedabad started strong in the opening set with Battur Batsuri’s powerful serves and attacks giving them the early advantage. However, Kochi’s Jasjodh Singh turned the tide with his superb serving and blocking, while Amrinderpal Singh’s solid defense helped Kochi clinch the first set.
The second set saw a strong comeback from Ahmedabad, as Nandgopal and Akhil combined well to level the game, despite Erin’s aggressive serves for Kochi.
In the third set, Nicolas Marechal and Jasjodh Singh dominated with sharp spikes, supported by Hemant and Amrinderpal’s precise attacks. Libero Allan Ashiq impressed with his defensive brilliance, helping Kochi edge out a tight set.
Kochi maintained control in the fourth and final set, capitalising on Arshak Sinan’s service errors to seal the victory.
With this win, Kochi Blue Spikers wrapped up their PVL 2025 journey on a positive note, while Ahmedabad Defenders had already qualified for the semifinals earlier in the tournament.
