Preparations Complete for Divyang Mass Wedding at Seva Mahatirth

Udaipur, March 12, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): Preparations for the 45th Divyang and economically weaker free mass wedding ceremony organised by Narayan Seva Sansthan have reached the final stage. The event venue at Seva Mahatirth (Liyon Ka Guda) has been decorated with a grand pandal and attractive arrangements ahead of the two-day celebration.

Divyang Mass Wedding

Institution President Prashant Agarwal said that more than 700 guests from across the country are expected to attend the special event. To ensure smooth management of the ceremony, separate teams have been formed to oversee arrangements related to reception, food, accommodation, transportation, and cultural programmes.

Guests to Start Arriving from Friday

Donors, guests, and family members of the brides and grooms from different states will begin arriving in Udaipur from Friday to participate in the ceremony. By Friday evening, all the couples taking part in the wedding are expected to reach Seva Mahatirth, where they will be welcomed with traditional rituals.

Wedding Rituals to Begin on Saturday

The two-day wedding celebration will begin on Saturday with Ganpati Pujan, followed by traditional wedding rituals. Ceremonies such as haldi, mehendi, and other cultural programmes will also be organised, with participation from guests and family members who have travelled from different parts of the country.

The entire campus will witness a festive atmosphere as families celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in the lives of the divyang couples.

Main Wedding Ceremony on Sunday

On Sunday, the couples will complete the traditional wedding rituals including toran, varmala, and saptapadi (seven sacred vows) before formally entering married life.
