The Poco Pad launches worldwide this weekend. The company announced the tablet’s release date and hinted at the design in a promotional poster. While no further details are known about the upcoming tablet, recent leaks suggest that the Poco Pad could be a Redmi Pad Pro. The Redmi tablet was launched in China in April this year. The Poco and Redmi tablets are expected to have similar specifications.
In a post about the X, Poco Global confirmed that the Poco Pad will launch globally on May 23 alongside the Poco F6 series. The post includes a promotional image that advertises the upcoming tablet as “the king of great visual entertainment.” In the teaser, only the tablet’s flat screen is visible.

The Poco Pad comes as an upgraded version of the Redmi Pad Pro, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display, and a 10,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging.
Like the Redmi tablet, the Poco Pad is said to have an 8-megapixel primary camera on the back and an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens on the front. It might come with HyperOS based on Android 14. The Redmi Pad Pro has four stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2 and USB Type-C.
The Redmi Pad Pro is available in Dark Grey, Shallow Blue Bay and Smoke Green (Chinese translation) colors starting at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 17,300) in China for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants are priced at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 18,400) and CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 20,700), respectively. Poco has not yet announced the price of the Poco Pad tablet.
