On the social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi posted his hopes for Rai’s quick healing, acknowledging the news of his illness.
According to reports, Ajay Rai had attended a conference for teachers and doctors organized by the party earlier in the day, where several senior Congress leaders were also present. During the event, he complained of discomfort and pain.
After the program concluded, his condition worsened, leading to him fainting. He was promptly admitted to the emergency ward of a private hospital in Lucknow.
It is reported that Ajay Rai was hospitalized due to sudden chest pain, discomfort, and loss of consciousness. A team of specialist doctors is monitoring his condition, and treatment is ongoing.
