New Delhi (Udaipur Kiran News): Millions of farmers across India are eagerly waiting for the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Each eligible farmer receives ₹2,000 every quarter under this central government scheme. This year, flood-affected farmers in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand have already received their payments as part of flood relief support, while farmers in other states are expected to get their installment before Diwali, i.e. by the last week of October 2025.

However, many farmers face delays in receiving the funds due to common errors. To ensure timely credit of your ₹2,000, you must avoid these five major mistakes:
🔹 1. Not Updating Bank Account or IFSC Details
If your bank account number or IFSC code is incorrect or outdated on the PM-KISAN portal, your installment cannot be credited.
✅ Solution: Log in to pmkisan.gov.in, go to the “Farmer Corner”, and update your bank details immediately.
🔹 2. Aadhaar Card Not Linked with Bank Account
The Aadhaar card must be correctly linked to your bank account to receive the installment. Mismatched or missing details can stop the payment.
✅ Solution: Visit your nearest CSC center or bank branch to verify and update Aadhaar linking.
🔹 3. Incorrect Details on the PM-KISAN Portal
Spelling mistakes or incorrect information in name, village, or mobile number can cause installment rejection.
✅ Solution: Log in to the PM-KISAN portal and verify all your details under “Edit Aadhaar Failure Records.”
🔹 4. Not Checking State Notifications
Some states, like Punjab, Himachal, and Uttarakhand, have already disbursed installments to flood-affected farmers. Others will follow before Diwali.
✅ Solution: Always check official state government websites or the PM-KISAN portal for updates. Avoid relying on rumors.
🔹 5. Not Checking Beneficiary Status
Many farmers don’t check whether their payment is released or pending.
✅ Solution: Go to the “Beneficiary Status” section on the PM-KISAN portal to view your payment details and reason for delay.
📅 When Will the 21st Installment Be Released?
While the official date is yet to be announced, media reports suggest the ₹2,000 installment will be credited before Diwali, most likely by the last week of October 2025.
Farmers are advised to verify and correct all details immediately to avoid missing the upcoming installment.
