
Mumbai, August 15 (Udaipur Kiran) – The two-day auction for the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2024 saw a significant amount of money spent on players. Among the 500 players up for auction, the highest bid so far was for defender Sachin, who was acquired by Tamil Thalaivas for a whopping ₹2.15 crore.
Additionally, Iranian all-rounder Mohammadreza Chiyaneh Shadloui was picked up by Haryana Steelers for ₹2.07 crore. Sunil Kumar was bought by U Mumba for ₹1.015 crore. Raider Guman Singh, from Category A, was secured by Gujarat Giants for ₹1.97 crore, while all-rounder Pawan Kumar Sehrawat was bought by Telugu Titans for ₹1.725 crore. UP Yoddha acquired Category B all-rounder Bharat for ₹1.3 crore.
Other notable buys included raider Ajinkya Ashok Pawar, who went to Bengaluru Bulls for ₹1.107 crore, all-rounder Ashish, who was bought by Dabang Delhi for ₹23.50 lakh, and defender Fazel Atrachali, who joined Bengal Warriors. Telugu Titans secured right corner defender Krishan for ₹70 lakh, Bengal Warriors picked raider Maninder Singh for ₹1.15 crore, and U Mumba signed raider Manjeet for ₹80 lakh.
Additionally, Puneeri Paltan purchased defender Mohit for ₹20 lakh, Bengaluru Bulls acquired raider Pardeep Narwal for ₹70 lakh, UP Yoddha bought defender Sahul Kumar for ₹30 lakh, Patna Pirates signed defender Shubham Shinde for ₹70 lakh, Dabang Delhi secured raider Siddharth Desai for ₹26 lakh, Gujarat Giants picked defender Sombir for ₹20 lakh, Telugu Titans bought all-rounder Vijay Malik for ₹20 lakh, and Jaipur Pink Panthers signed defender Surjeet Singh for ₹60 lakh.
The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2024 auction is being hosted in Mumbai. The two-day event features bids on 500 players.
