Google has officially completed its March 2025 Feature Drop with the final update to the Pixel Screenshots app, introducing a much-anticipated feature: Suggestions. This upgrade enhances the app’s AI-powered capabilities by recommending which screenshots to add to your collections, making it easier than ever to stay organized.

New Suggestions Carousel with Approve/Deny Options
Rolling out now via the Google Play Store (version 0.25.023.30), the update introduces a Suggestions carousel that appears when opening a screenshot grouping. Users will see:
-
Preview thumbnails
-
AI-generated descriptions
-
Deny and Approve buttons to manage which screenshots are added to specific collections
Although the update has begun rolling out, the feature may not be live for everyone just yet. The app also downloads a new AI model in the background to support the suggestions system.
Users will be prompted with messages like:
-
“Are you sure you want to clear these suggestions? Once cleared, these suggestions won’t appear again, but new screenshots can still be suggested.”
-
“There are no suggestions for this collection. Suggestions will appear when available.”
Other Interface Enhancements
In addition to Suggestions, the app now features:
-
A new Filter button on the home screen, located to the left of the category carousel, allowing users to easily sort and access screenshots without swiping endlessly.
-
A more fluid top/app bar experience, which now stays accessible even while scrolling — making it easier to open reminders, settings, and more without scrolling back to the top.
-
Expanded compatibility that now includes work profiles, improving usability for professionals managing dual profiles on their Pixel devices.
A Smarter Screenshot Experience
This new Suggestions feature builds on Google’s goal of making Pixel devices more intuitive and AI-forward. With automatic screenshot categorization and smart filtering, users can now maintain better control over their digital archives.
The rollout may take a few days to reach all users, so visiting the Play Store listing directly is recommended to check availability.
