Udaipur, Rajasthan – March 27, 2025 : Pacific University’s Faculty of Science and Technology inaugurated its much-anticipated annual three-day festival, TechFest 2K25, with great enthusiasm and a high-energy sports day that witnessed overwhelming participation from students across departments.
Day One Energized by Exciting Sports Events
The festival opened with a dynamic array of sports competitions, injecting a wave of enthusiasm and team spirit across the campus. Students competed passionately in events such as Tug of War, Relay Race, Three-Legged Race, and the One-Minute Show. The sports ground came alive with the cheers of supporters and the fierce yet friendly rivalry among teams.
The Tug of War event showcased raw strength and unity among participants, while the Relay Race tested speed, agility, and coordination. The Three-Legged Race brought out laughter and excitement as students worked on synchronization and balance. The One-Minute Show proved to be a creative highlight, where participants impressed the audience with talent, spontaneity, and expression.
Dignitaries Encourage Sportsmanship and Student Spirit
The grand opening ceremony was graced by University President Prof. Hemant Kothari and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology Prof. Dilendra Hiran, who praised the efforts of participating students and emphasized the value of sports in holistic development.
Prof. Rameshwar Ameta, Dean of Science College, and other faculty members actively encouraged the participants, appreciating their dedication and enthusiasm. Principal of Physical Education College, Prof. Hemant Pandya, administered a Sportsmanship Oath, inspiring students to uphold integrity and commitment in all future competitions.

Event coordinator Praveen Jagetia shared that the next two days of TechFest 2K25 will feature a mix of cultural and academic events, including talent showcases, quiz contests, tech exhibitions, and expert sessions—aimed at fostering creativity, innovation, and interdisciplinary learning.
