Upcoming Reno Flagship to Feature High-End MediaTek SoC, Mali-G720 GPU, and Triple Camera Setup

The upcoming Oppo Reno14 has just surfaced on Geekbench, revealing key hardware specifications ahead of its expected June 2025 launch. Listed under the model number PKZ110, the Reno14 is confirmed to be powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 8400 chipset, marking a significant performance upgrade over its predecessor.

The listing also confirms 12GB of RAM, a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU, and the device running on Android 15, positioning the Reno14 to be one of the first mainstream smartphones to debut with Google’s next-gen mobile OS out of the box.

Reno14 Specifications (Expected)

From current leaks and benchmark data, here are the expected highlights of the Oppo Reno14 or potentially the Reno14 Pro:

  • Operating System: Android 15

  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 8400 SoC

  • GPU: Mali-G720 MC7

  • RAM: 12GB

  • Build: Metal/aluminum frame

  • Display: Flat 120Hz OLED panel (likely on Pro model)

  • Ingress Protection: IP68/IP69-rated full water resistance (Reno14 Pro)

Camera Setup: Periscope Zoom Likely on Pro Model

Leaks also suggest an upgraded triple rear camera setup:

  • 50MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS)

  • 50MP periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom

  • 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor

While not yet confirmed whether these specs belong to the vanilla Reno14 or the Pro variant, sources point to the Pro featuring the more advanced camera system and durability features.

Design and Unique Features

The Reno14 Pro is also rumored to include a unique “Magic Cube” button on the left side of the device, though its exact function remains unknown. Given Oppo’s focus on design innovation in past Reno generations, it could serve as a shortcut or AI-assist trigger.

With the phone’s benchmark results surfacing in early May, a June release window aligns with Oppo’s twice-yearly Reno launch cycle, following the Reno11 series debut in late 2024.
