Oppo will launch its latest smartphone series, the Reno12, in India on July 12. The series includes two models, Reno12 and Reno12 Pro, and is marketed as “your daily companion with artificial intelligence.”

This series is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset based on the 4nm process. This smartphone comes with AI features like AI Clear Face, AI Writer, AI Recording Summary, AI Eraser 2.0 and more.
Both models have a 5000mAh battery that supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging and is fully charged in just 46 minutes.
Both models feature a flexible 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display with a 43-degree Micro Quad curve, resulting in a 93.5% screen-to-body ratio. The Pro version comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the vanilla model uses Gorilla Glass 7i for protection. Both models are dust and water protected according to the IP65 standard.
The cameras differ between the two models. The Pro version has a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with Sony’s LYT-600 sensor and OIS. On the vanilla model, the telephoto lens is replaced by a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The phones come with AI-enhanced connectivity, with Oppo’s exclusive AI LinkBoost technology that promises to reduce network latency by up to 25%.
The Reno12 Pro is available in Sunset Gold and Space Brown colors, while the Reno12 is available in Sunset Peach, Mate Brown and Astro Silver colors.
Post-launch, the Reno 12 series will be available on Flipkart, Oppo India’s online store and offline retailers.
