
The Oppo Reno 12 5G series is expected to be launched by the company in India later this month. This collection includes the standard version of Oppo Reno 12 5G and Reno 12 Pro 5G. These phones were first launched in China in May and then rolled out globally last month. Now the company has announced the launch date of this phone in India. The design of the Reno 12 series was also revealed, confirming the color options and key features of both models. These are the successors to the Oppo Reno 11 5G series launched in the country in January.

The upcoming Oppo Reno 12 5G and Reno 12 Pro 5G models will go on sale in India on July 12 at 12:00 PM IST. The company had earlier confirmed that the smartphone will be available in the country via Flipkart and Oppo India websites.
The Indian version of the 5G Oppo Reno 12 series appears to have a similar design to its Chinese and global counterparts. The triple rear camera unit is arranged vertically and housed in a slightly raised rectangular module in the top left corner. The phone also has a glossy finish.
The company has confirmed that the Oppo Reno 12 5G will be available in three primary colors: Silver, Matte Brown and Sunset Peach, while the Reno 12 Pro 5G will be available in Space Brown and Sunset Gold.

The Indian version of the Oppo Reno 12 5G series smartphone features a flexible 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 1200 nits. The original version features Gorilla Glass 7i, while the Pro version has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
Oppo Reno 12 5G and Reno 12 Pro 5G are launched in India with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset that supports AI-based features such as AI Clear Face, AI Writer, AI Recording Summary and AI Eraser 2.0. Each of these is powered by a 5000mAh battery with support for 80W SuperVOOC charging.
Both Oppo Reno 12 5G series phones feature an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support. The vanilla model has a 2MP macro camera as a third sensor, while the Pro version has a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and up to 20x digital zoom.
The basic model has a 32-megapixel front camera and the professional version has a 50-megapixel selfie camera. Both Oppo Reno 12 5G smartphones support Oppo’s AI LinkBoost technology and feature 1P65 certified construction that is dust and splash proof.
