
OnePlus Open Apex Edition has been launched in India. This new version of the OnePlus Open arrives almost a year after the launch of the standard model and comes in a fresh red color with a leather cover on the back. The OnePlus Open Apex Edition offers new RAM and storage options as well as some new software features. This phone is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Generation 2 chip. It features a 7.82-inch foldable internal display with a 6.31-inch AMOLED display.

The OnePlus Open Apex Edition is priced at Rs. 1,49,999 and comes with 16GB RAM + 1TB storage. Available in the new Crimson color with leather backing.
In comparison, the OnePlus Open was launched in October last year at a price of Rs 20 lakh. 1,39,999 for 16GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration. It is available in Emerald Dusk and Voyager Black colors.

The OnePlus Open Apex Edition runs Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 and features a 7.82-inch (2268 x 2440 pixels) 2K Flexi-Fluid LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display. It features a 6.31-inch (1116 x 2484 pixels) 2K LTPO 3.0 Super Fluid AMOLED display. This book-style foldable phone is powered by Qualcomm’s 2nd generation Snapdragon 8 chip with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The onboard RAM is expandable up to 12 GB. The standard OnePlus Open has 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
Like the standard version, the OnePlus Open Apex Edition also features a Hasselblad-tuned triple camera setup with a 48MP Sony LYT-T808 CMOS primary camera, 3x optical zoom and 6x sensor zoom. Sensor with Sony IMX581 ultra wide-angle camera with 48 megapixels. The main selfie camera is 20 megapixels and the secondary camera is 32 megapixels.
OnePlus Open Apex Edition has a new VIP mode that can be toggled by moving the notification slider to the top position. This privacy feature blocks access to your camera, microphone, and other features. Connectivity options on this phone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, A-GPS, QZSS, and a USB Type-C port. Internal sensors include accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, electronic compass, flip detection sensor and ambient light sensor. The device is equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the side and supports facial recognition function for authentication. There is also an X-axis motor.
