Udaipur, April 27: In a significant breakthrough, the main suspect in the murder case of Sahil alias Suhani, which occurred on April 7, has been arrested along with an accomplice in Ahmedabad. The primary accused, Naeem alias Naeemuddin, and his associate Kundan, both known criminals, were on the run since the incident.
According to Station House Officer Karmveer Singh, Naeem sustained injuries while fleeing the scene of the crime. He sought treatment at a private hospital in Ahmedabad due to an injury to his private parts. The police received information that he would return to the hospital for medication. Acting on this tip-off, a trap was laid with the assistance of the Gujarat police and hospital administration. Naeem was apprehended as soon as he arrived at the hospital, along with Kundan, who was hiding with him.
The police reported that on the night of April 7, Sahil was brutally attacked with knives in the Bichhu Valley area due to a previous enmity, resulting in fatal injuries to his chest and waist. Earlier, the police had already arrested Gaurav Singh Chouhan alias Bittu, Mohammad Suhan Dyer, and Joeb Khan alias Akkhu in connection with this case.
Records indicate that Kundan has around fifteen criminal cases against him, while Naeem has more than a dozen. ASI Ishaq Mohammad and Head Constable Satpal played crucial roles in the arrests.
