MTNL planning to come-up with 4G data services in Delhi, Mumbai: Report

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (MTNL) is reportedly planning to come-up with 4G data services on the 1,800 Mhz and 2,100 Mhz spectrum in New Delhi and Mumbai, for which it has sought government’s approval for issuance of preferential capital worth Rs 6,292 crore.

MTNL was set up by the Government of India to upgrade the quality of telecom services, expand the telecom network, and introduce new services and to raise revenue for telecom development needs of India’s key metros — Delhi and Mumbai.
