Appeals to Citizens to Help Accident Victims on Roads

Udaipur: Displaying an act of humanity and responsibility, Member of Parliament Mannalal Rawat personally ensured that an injured youth received medical attention after an accident on Oda Road late Saturday night. The MP not only transported the injured victim to the hospital in his own vehicle but also coordinated with doctors to ensure proper treatment.

MP Mannalal Rawat was returning to Udaipur after a tour of Banswara district when he came across a distressing scene near Oda Pulia. A young man lay injured on the road while another was desperately trying to signal passing vehicles for help—yet no one stopped. Recognizing the urgency, Rawat immediately ordered his driver to halt the car.

Upon inquiring, the youth informed Rawat that an unknown vehicle had collided with their motorcycle and fled, leaving his companion severely injured. The victim, identified as Lalchand, son of Panchalal Meena, a resident of Katadifla Devpura, had suffered serious injuries to his hands and legs.

Without hesitation, MP Rawat, with the help of his security personnel, placed the injured youth in his vehicle and rushed him to Satellite Hospital in Hiran Magri, Sector 6. There, he ensured that doctors attended to the victim and facilitated his admission for treatment.

It was later revealed that both youths were returning to their village from Udaipur after a day’s labor when the accident occurred.

Following this incident, MP Rawat urged citizens to step forward and help accident victims rather than ignore them, emphasizing the importance of immediate medical assistance in saving lives.
