
After launching the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra and Motorola Edge 5o Pro earlier this year, the Lenovo sub-brand plans to launch the Edge 50 Neo soon. While the company is yet to confirm the Edge 50 Neo’s launch, the latest leak hints at some key features of the smartphone.
Motorola Edge 5o Neo Leaks:
According to a leaked tip from Sudanshu cited by 91Mobiles, the Edge 50 Neo will be available in two internal storage variants: 8GB RAM/256GB internal storage and 12GB RAM/512GB internal storage.
It is available in 4 colors: grey, blue, poissy and milky. Some of these shades will be certified by Pantone, says the tipster.
Motorola Edge 40 Neo:
While we don’t know much about the Edge 50 Neo, a look at its predecessor’s specs and price gives us an idea of how Motorola sees its Neo offering.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo features a 6.55-inch B-OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits peak brightness. The smartphone is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and has IP68 dust and water resistance.
The Edge 40 Neo is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6879 Dimensity 7030 SoC based on 6nm process technology, paired with a Mali-G610 MC3 GPU for graphics-intensive tasks.
Visually, Motorola’s mid-range model has dual cameras on the back, with a 50MP primary sensor that supports optical image stabilization (OIS) and a secondary 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 32 megapixel camera on the front of the phone, which adequately copes with all the tasks of selfies and video calls. The Edge 50 Neo is priced at ₹23,999 for the 8GB/128GB storage variant and ₹25,999 for the 12GB/256GB storage variant.
