Santiago, October 20 (Udaipur Kiran): Morocco created history by defeating Argentina 2–0 to claim their maiden FIFA Under-20 World Cup title. Star striker Yassir Zabrini delivered a match-winning performance, scoring both goals in the final — in the 12th and 29th minutes — to secure a decisive lead for his team.

With this victory, Morocco became the first African nation since Ghana in 2009 to lift the U-20 World Cup trophy.
During the tournament, Morocco topped a challenging group that included Spain, Brazil, and Mexico. In the knockout rounds, they went on to defeat South Korea, the United States, and France to book their place in the final.
For Argentina, this was their first loss of the tournament. The team, aiming for a record seventh title, played the final without two of their key players — Claudio Echeverri (Bayer Leverkusen) and Franco Mastantuono (Real Madrid).
