MLSU’s law college soon to have an AIR Cafe

‘One stop research center for students, faculty’

Udaipur : The Law college at MohanLal Sukhadia University will soon get an AIR cafe, first of its kind in Rajasthan, a law library for the benefit of students, researchers and faculty members.The college administration has inked an MoU with All India Reporter (AIR), Nagpur which will operate here an one-stop research center providing and extending all sort of reference material like journals, periodicals, commentaries and text books, digests, manuals and e-access to online research tools in the AIR cafe. Major decisions, commentaries by learned judges and experts would just be a click away in the library which would function in the second floor of the law college building. The printouts of judgements would be chargeable at 2 rupees per page.

“The access to the AIR cafe would be limited to the students and faculty members only. There would be ten computer terminals equipped with all the reputed legal software offline and online. Initially the MoU has been made for 5 years which may be extended upon successful completion of term” Prof Anand Paliwal, Dean Law college told Udaipur Kiran. There are approximately 1600 students enrolled under the LLB, BALLB and LLM programs while there are eight permanent teaching members and 40 guest faculty.
